UKPES is the educational arm of the Houses of Parliament, tasked with teaching school children how parliament and the government as a whole works.
This design was part of the pitch Oculus won to redesign the literature they provide for various age groups. This particular piece was aimed at Key Stage 4 students (14–16 year-olds).
I thought a magazine style, with the information broken into small chunks and a lively graphic look, would be the best route to take. I came up with the title of the publication and many of the headlines and worked with a copywriter to create the rest of the text.
